Errors encountered while parsing benchmark output.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

DirectoryNotFound(PathBuf)

Benchmark results directory does not exist.

§

NoTxtFiles(PathBuf)

No .txt output files were found in the results directory.

§

NoMetricsParsed(PathBuf)

Output files were found, but no benchmark metrics could be parsed.

§

DuplicateBenchmark

A duplicate benchmark identifier was found.

Fields

§name: String

Name of the duplicated benchmark identifier.

§file: PathBuf

Path of the file containing the collision.

§

InvalidNumber(String)

Failed to parse a numeric value from benchmark output.

§

Pattern(Error)

The bencher line pattern did not compile.

§

Io(Error)

Underlying I/O error.

§

Json(Error)

Underlying JSON serialization error.

§

TooFewSamples

Fewer than three repeated summaries were supplied for one side.

Fields

§side: &'static str

The comparison side.

§count: usize

Number of supplied summaries.

§

BenchmarkSetMismatch

Reference and candidate summaries did not contain the same benchmarks.

§

InvalidSample(String)

A sample was non-finite or non-positive without every sample being zero.

§

EmptyBenchmarkSet

A supplied summary had no benchmark metrics.

§

InvalidTolerance

The configured tolerance was negative, NaN, or infinite.

§

NoBenchExecutables

Cargo’s JSON messages named no bench executable.

§

NoExecutableRan

A pass’s Cargo log named no executable that it ran.

§

CommitMismatch

An executable manifest was built from a different commit than the pass.

Fields

§manifest: String

The commit the manifest records.

§pass: String

The commit the pass was labelled with.

§

UnrecordedExecutable(PathBuf)

A pass ran an executable that its side’s manifest does not list.

§

ExecutableChanged(PathBuf)

A prebuilt executable’s bytes changed after the manifest recorded them.

§

MissingExecutableIdentity(&'static str)

A side’s summaries name no executable.

§

ExecutableDrift(&'static str)

A side’s passes ran different executables.

§

SharedExecutable(PathBuf)

Reference and candidate ran the same executable file.

§

Budget(BudgetError)

A broker performance lane command failed.
