Module runtime

Source
Expand description

Broker-backed execution runtime for built streams topologies.

The I/O traits, the global-store manager and the IQv2 query types build for every target. The stream thread, its tasks, the broker adapters and the KafkaStreams supervisor drive Kafka network clients, so they exist only on native targets; on wasm32-unknown-unknown an embedder drives a task’s graph through EmbeddedTask instead.

Re-exports§

pub use io::FetchBatch;
pub use io::FetchedRec;
pub use io::IsolationLevel;
pub use io::OffsetStore;
pub use io::RecordFetcher;
pub use io::RecordProducer;

Modules§

io
The dependency-injected I/O that the runtime needs: it fetches source records, produces sink records, and commits and fetches offsets.
iqv2
Interactive Queries v2 (KIP-796 / 960 / 968): the StateQueryRequest → KafkaStreams::query → StateQueryResult envelope and its query objects.

Structs§

KafkaStreams
A managed Kafka Streams runtime.
ReadOnlyKeyValueStore
Read-only composite KV store view, for Interactive Queries.
ReadOnlySessionStore
Read-only composite session store view. fetch gives each session as a Windowed<K>, which holds the key and [start, end], together with its value.
ReadOnlyWindowStore
Read-only composite window store view. fetch gives (windowStart, V) pairs.
StreamsCommitInterval
Positive, whole-millisecond Client Streams commit interval.
StreamsInteractiveQueryQueueCapacity
Tokio-supported capacity shared by the Client Streams interactive-query queues.
StreamsPollInterval
Positive, whole-millisecond Client Streams processing poll interval.
StreamsStateStoreCacheMaxBytes
Target-supported Client Streams state-store record-cache budget.

Constants§

DEFAULT_STREAMS_COMMIT_INTERVAL
Default delay between Client Streams commit attempts.
DEFAULT_STREAMS_INTERACTIVE_QUERY_QUEUE_CAPACITY
Default capacity of each Client Streams interactive-query request queue.
DEFAULT_STREAMS_POLL_INTERVAL
Default delay between Client Streams processing polls.
DEFAULT_STREAMS_STATE_STORE_CACHE_MAX_BYTES
Default Client Streams state-store record-cache budget (the JVM default).
MAX_STREAMS_STATE_STORE_CACHE_MAX_BYTES
The largest cache budget that both the public i64 API and the target’s internal usize cache accounting can represent.
